Musto Carmelitano has been a family-run farm for more than three generations of winemakers. Now it is possible to obtain exceptional wines, combining tradition with technology. The company consists of thirteen hectares , nine of which are dedicated to arable land and four to vineyards. The Aglianico del Vulture grapes, coming from the company's vineyards, are scrupulously selected and harvested by hand, cultivated following the organic method. Furthermore the company avoids using selected yeasts, clarifications and any intervention of stabilisation. Musto Carmelitano wines are produced in an artisanal way, respecting the environment and protecting the consumer. The grapes for this wine come from the oldest company vineyard, located in Pian del Moro.

Grape variety: Aglianico 100%

Vinification: wine is aged in steel tanks for 12 months, raised in 500-liter French oak barrels for about 12 months. It is marketed after a long refinement in the bottle.

Tasting notes: Ruby color with deep violet, bright nuances. The nose is rich and complex with notes of red and black fruit, raspberry, mulberry, lavender, licorice and sweet spices. On the palate it is very rich, structured and sapid, with good and tasty tannins and excellent persistence.

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Food pairing: red meat and game

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
