Giorgio Meletti Cavallari is a young winery from the Tyrrhenian coast, within one of the most famous Italian wine areas in Tuscany, the DOC Bolgheri. Giorgio Meletti Cavallari's Borgeri is a soft, fresh and fruity Bolgheri Rosso, excellent value for money, aged in barriques for 8 months. It has a fruity and balsamic olfactory profile, with notes of wild berries and sweet spices in the foreground. The sip evokes the oenological spirit of Tuscany: round, juicy and engaging.

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Merlot 40%, Syrah 20%

Vinification: Cold maceration for 24/36 hours. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. Refinement: 8 months in barrique and 8 months in bottle.

Tasting notes:  deep ruby ​​red color with violet reflections, fresh scent of red fruits, slightly balsamic. The taste is lively, with pronounced but harmonious tannins, good acidity and persistence.

Food pairing: aged cheeses, meet dishes, pasta with ragu

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18 °C
