Founded in 1968, La Marca is one of Italy’s most respected wine cooperatives, bringing together around 5,000 growers across eight member wineries in the province of Treviso. With over 15,000 hectares of vineyards under its care, La Marca operates at the very heart of the Prosecco DOC region, including the prestigious Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, Delle Venezie, and Piave DOC areas.
In just over five decades, La Marca has evolved into a major player on the global wine stage, bottling approximately 600,000 hectoliters of wine per year and exporting 85% of its production to more than 50 countries. Its portfolio includes world-renowned styles such as Prosecco DOC, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG, and Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC—each bottle representing a perfect balance of tradition, terroir, and modern winemaking expertise.
But La Marca is more than just a producer of high-quality Italian wines. Since October 2021, the company has held the Equalitas “Sustainable Winery” certification, a recognition of its strong commitment to sustainability across environmental, economic, and social dimensions. Photovoltaic panels help save approximately 30 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year, while advanced water purification systems reduce water consumption in both vineyard and cellar operations. Their wine production now averages a carbon footprint of just 1.35 kg of CO₂ per bottle.
La Marca’s sustainable practices extend to people and community as well. The company actively supports local employment and youth training, sponsors local sports teams like Imoco Volley, and contributes to cultural and environmental initiatives such as reforestation projects following storm Vaia. It also maintains multiple international certifications including IFS, BRC, ISO 22005, and organic compliance—guaranteeing transparency, quality, and safety at every step.
