Crafted in the heart of the sparkling Prosecco DOC region near Treviso, this Extra Dry Prosecco represents the perfect balance of La Marca's winemaking tradition and the vibrant character of Glera. It captures the essence of Northern Italy’s beloved sparkling wine landscape. This Extra Dry version embodies La Marca’s approachable elegance—ideal for aperitifs, celebrations, or as a refreshing complement to everyday meals.
Grape Variety: 100% Glera, gently pressed to preserve the purity and fresh aromatic qualities of the fruit.
Vinification: After a gentle press, fermentation begins at a cool 15 °C with selected yeasts. Secondary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks via the Charmat method, ensuring controlled effervescence and clarity.
Tasting notes: Pale straw yellow with a fine, persistent bead. Bright aromas of citrus (green apple, ripe lemon), white peach, quince, rose, and the delicate fragrance of crusty bread. Crisp, silky, and well-balanced, with vibrant fruit flavors of apple, peach, and grapefruit, framed by a hint of minerality and a clean, refreshing finish.
Food Pairing: Its soft yet lively profile makes it a delightful partner for seafood dishes—mollusks, shellfish, sushi, sashimi—as well as chicken canapés, vegetable focaccia, and quinoa arancini.
