At the Giba winery, quality is the top priority. Giba thus succeeds in creating wines that can perfectly express the terroir and characteristics of the Sulcis region. The local Carignano del Sulcis and Vermentino varieties are vinified by variety. The 20 hectares managed by Cantina Giba stretch across picturesque vineyards from the sandy coast of Porto Pino beach to the expanses of Sant'Anna. 6 Mura Carignano del Sulcis is a premium line of the company, the maximum expression of the territory of great character and personality.

Grape variety: Carignano del Sulcis

Vinification: French oak barrique and tonneau, aged for at least 12 months and then aged for 6 months in bottle.

Tasting notes: a very full bodied and concentrated Carignano with a long term aging ability. It is made using fruit from ancient vines with a really low (by hectare) yield. Deep red ruby in color, with powerful aromas and flavours full of mature red fruit and spices. Very elegant wine but austere, like the land where it comes from.

Food pairing: structured dishes, red meat, aged cheeses, game

Alcohol content: 16 % vol.

Serve at 16°-18°C
