Produced from Sangiovese grapes from their own clone selection and aged in both large casks and French oak barriques, this Brunello is one of the few examples of the perfect synthesis between tradition and oenological modernity. Elegant and powerful, can be enjoyed immediately and can be stored for a long time as well.

Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese

Vinification: Only the best Sangiovese grapes (regionally called Brunello) are used for the king wine of Tuscany, Brunello. Fermentation takes place in Horizon composite steel and oak vats. Then the wine is aged for 2 years in 60 Hl and 90 Hl French oak barrels for 80% and in 350 L French oak barriques for 20%. Refinement in the bottle 1 year before release.

Tasting notes: Brilliant ruby red colour. Elegant, finely scented nose. Aromas of plums, stewed sour cherries, dried fruit and fine toasted nuances, some tobacco. Beautiful aromatic density. Powerful, well-structured body. Present tannins of good quality. The finish is long, elegant and precise.

Food pairing: Easily stands up to rich meat dishes.

Alcohol content: 15% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Awards: Wine Spectator 93/100, Kerin O'Keefe 94/100, Mundus Vini Gold Medal, Robert Parker 93/100
