Produced by Piandimare, a winery deeply rooted in Abruzzo's Colline Teatine hills, this rosé embodies the region's commitment to authentic, sustainable winemaking. Piandimare works hand in hand with the land, favouring sustainable practices to craft wines that reflect their vibrant terroir and Mediterranean soul.

Grape variety: Montepulciano

Vinification: hand-harvested grapes are pressed immediately after picking, with no maceration, keeping the colour delicate and bright. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness. The wine then ages on fine lees for six months, enhancing its complexity and texture.

Tasting notes: pale pink. On the nose, a fragrant bouquet of white flowers, banana, pineapple, pear, wild strawberry and wild cherry. Fresh and elegant, with fine acidity and a saline minerality typical of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, and a smooth, pleasant finish.

Food pairing: ideal as an aperitif, this rosato also pairs beautifully with seafood crudo and Adriatic-style fried fish.

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 8–10°C

Awards: Luca Maroni 92/100
