The Terčič winery is located in San Floriano del Collio, near the border with Slovenia, on the easternmost edge of northern Italy. The Collio DOC area extends across the northern band of the province of Gorizia, in an area of just over 1500 hectares of hillside vineyards.

Grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc 100%

Vinification: The white wines are all fermented in steel tanks and then remain their on the lees for 9 months. The wine is released on the market after 15 months refinement in the bottle. They are full-bodied but not overpowering wines that reach their peak after 4 years. Longevity 7-8 years.

Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with green reflections. Nose: inviting, intense and complex. Notes of elder and acacia blossoms, yellow melon, pineapple, peach and citrus peel following one another. On the palate: elegant, with pleasant acidity, freshness and flavour.

Food pairing: appetisers, fish dishes

Alcohol content: 13% vol.
