The winner of a lot of prestigious awards in the wine business. Maja is not just the wine, it is not just a label. Maja is the name of the mountain that gives to Montepulciano area an extraordinary climate, creator of extraordinary grapes.

Grapes variety: Montepulciano

Vinification: Grapes harvested from the second half of October onwards. Long fermentations at controlled temperature. The tribute to our land and to the Majella could only be our spearhead. A very long and multifaceted wine, where the acidity obtained from the microclimate elegantly supports and accompanies the maturity and complexity of the fruit matured in small French wooden barrels for 30 months and at least 6 months in the bottle before release.

Tasting notes: Intense, dark and almost impenetrable red colour. It reminds of mature dark cherries, plums and blackcurrants. Elegant tertianry notes of tobacco, vanilla, licorice and black pepper. The balnce between softness and tannins provides a perfect and clean harmonius finish.

Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.

Food Pairing: It can be identified as a meditation wine, but it is best served with red meats, grilled lamb, steak rib-eye and mature cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
