Crafted from the legendary Cartizze cru, nestled within the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, this wine represents the absolute peak of Prosecco excellence. The Cartizze area is a small subzone of just 107 hectares, located in the steepest and most prestigious slopes of Valdobbiadene, specifically between the hamlets of Saccol, San Pietro di Barbozza, and Santo Stefano. It is often referred to as the "Grand Cru" of Prosecco, thanks to its ideal exposure, altitude, and a unique mix of moraine, sandstone, and clay soils, which lend the Glera grape unparalleled richness and finesse. The microclimate of Cartizze is key—characterized by optimal sun exposure and cool mountain breezes, it allows the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, preserving both aromatic complexity and vibrant acidity. This makes the wines from Cartizze notably more intense, elegant, and expressive compared to standard Prosecco.

Grape Variety: 100% Glera, hand‑harvested at full ripeness on the windswept, hillside vineyards of Cartizze.

Vinification: After a soft press, the free‑run must ferments at 15 °C for 15–20 days. A second fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks using the Charmat method at 14 °C, resulting in a delicate yet persistent effervescence.

Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage. The fragrance is intense and luminous—featuring green apple, pear, apricot, and rose. On the palate, it is zesty, soft, and lightly sparkling with bright acidity and smooth texture, culminating in a clean, satisfying finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal as a light aperitif or enjoyed solo, yet its richness truly shines with desserts—try wild berry trifles, chestnut mousse with Chantilly cream, peach tarte tatin, or strawberry mille-feuille.

Alcohol Content: 11.5% vol.

Serving Temperature: 6–8°C
