La Plantze was born in Montagnine, in an old vineyard of about one hectare left to itself in recent years. It was among the 80-year-old stocks that Henri had been told that, at least for that year, they would have not gotten anything out of it. Patience is the virtue of the strong, and the response was strong and patient: “Fa Nagòtt!”, or “Don’t worry!”. Because if the wait is worth its price then you can easily expect a great red with outstanding body, structure and elegance, the symbol of one of the most suitable areas of the Aosta Valley.

Grape variety: Petit Rouge, Fumin, Cornalin, Mayolet, Prëmetta

Vinification: Ageing in barrique for 18 months

Tasting notes: Bright ruby red. Nose: Ripe red fruit, which then opens up to spicy notes, up to hints of graphite. On the palate: excellent persistence. It is a fresh and tannic wine.

Food pairing: seupetta from Cogne

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Awards: ViniBuoni d'Italia Golden Star
