Handpicked from select vineyards in the heart of Tuscany, this Rosso di Montalcino captures the essence of the region's terroir — sun-drenched hills, fertile soils and a gentle Mediterranean breeze give the grapes a distinctly Tuscan character.
Grape variety: a clonal selection of Sangiovese, known locally as Brunello.
Vinification: manual harvest with careful selection of the best bunches. Fermentation on the skins for 15 days below 28°C in short, wide 60- and 80-hl steel tanks; 12 months in cask and steel to keep the wine fresh.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby. A broad, inviting nose with very distinct Sangiovese primary fruit. On the palate, fine balance between volume and elegance, with a vertical structure.
Food pairing: aged cheeses and red meats.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C.
