Quality in vineyard and cellar is Ciù Ciù's guiding purpose. This deep ruby red with purple shades is best after its third year; ageing brings vivacity, amber highlights and a velvety smoothness. Its Montepulciano and Sangiovese vines grow on the hills of the Ascoli Piceno area.
Grape variety: Montepulciano, Sangiovese
Vinification: traditional red fermentation, aged 12 months in oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle.
Tasting notes: Dense ruby red with garnet reflections. Spice up front, alongside ripe cherry and red berries. Velvety tannins on the palate, medium-weight and balanced.
Food pairing: pizza, pasta, aged cheeses and meat dishes.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C.
