A ruby red with purple shades turning to orange, from Montepulciano and Sangiovese grown with care on the Marche hills. Harmoniously delicate yet tannic — dry, full-bodied with a gently tannic edge. It shows best between its first and second year, though further ageing brings more balance and smoothness.
Grape variety: Montepulciano, Sangiovese
Vinification: traditional red fermentation with daily punching-down over about 10 days, followed by 6 months' ageing in stainless steel.
Tasting notes: Medium-density ruby red. On the nose, ripe black cherry and spice. Velvety tannins on the palate, medium body and fruity notes.
Food pairing: pizza, pasta, hearty meat dishes.
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C.
