The Ceraudo estate lies within a 17th-century hamlet, set in a 60-hectare garden of vineyards, olive groves and citrus orchards that runs down to the sea. It's home to a Michelin-starred restaurant, rooms with sweeping views over the hills and a lovely pool ringed by centuries-old olive trees. Ceraudo's wines are all notably elegant, marked by complexity, substantial texture and long-lasting aromas. Dattilo is a powerful expression of its territory — full of character and structure, persistent, and spicy and intense on the nose.

Grape variety: Gaglioppo

Vinification: hand-harvested; fermentation with no selected yeasts; a yield of 50 quintals per hectare. Aged 24 months in large oak casks and 12 months in bottle.

Tasting notes: Beautiful ruby red. A harmonious, spicy and intense nose. On the palate, a powerful expression of its territory — a Gaglioppo of real character and structure.

Food pairing: fine meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.

Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.

Serve at 16–18°C.

Awards: The WineHunter Award Rosso.
