Experience Franciacorta's Metodo Classico — Italy's answer to Champagne. This labour-intensive method gives wines prized for their complexity and elegance: the history and quality of a unique terroir turned into pure emotion. Camilucci makes it in the most natural, modern way, as a Dosaggio Zero (Pas Dosé) with an average residual sugar of just 1–2 g/L.
Grape variety: 75% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Bianco, 20% Pinot Nero
Vinification: Classic Method. First fermentation in stainless steel, then 6–8 months' refinement (September to April). Second fermentation in bottle with at least 24 months on the lees at controlled temperature, plus 6 months' further ageing in bottle.
Tasting notes: Golden yellow with a fine, persistent perlage. Elegant, harmonious notes of flowers and fruit with hints of brioche and toast. Fresh and balanced on the palate, with a long, persistent finish.
Food pairing: starters, cheese or fish. Excellent as an aperitif and a fine companion right through the meal.
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Serve at 6–8°C.
