Iuno is a great Lazio IGT, complex, structured and with exceptional ageing potential.

Grape variety: Cabernet Franc 100 %

Vinification: After a careful selection of the grapes, maceration and fermentation takes place for about 15-20 days at a controlled temperature in conical steel tanks. This is followed by a 5-month aging in French oak barrels. Further refinement in bottle for 4 months.

Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. Nose: an intense and enveloping bouquet characterized by fruity notes of cherry, black cherry and raspberries, accompanied by vegetal notes of undergrowth and pepper, as well as spicy black pepper and licorice. There is no lack of balsamic mint notes. The palate is round, warm and lively with a decidedly soft tannin, with long persistence.

Food pairing: meat starters or risottos, grilled red meat, hamburgers, roasts, especially lamb.

Alcohol content: 15 %

Serve at 16°-18°C
