It's a taste of Italy's wine culture, bottled for your enjoyment. Excellent Valcalepio Rosso produced from a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes grown on vines with an easterly exposure on a calcareous clay marl at a height of about 270 m. above sea level.

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%)

Vinification: matured in barriques at least for 12 months and aged in the bottle.

Tasting notes: Intense ruby red colour, with delicate hints of vanilla and fruits of the forest and a soft, spicy flavour. 

Food pairing: Perfect as an accompaniment for such dishes like pasta and risottos, as well as the whole range of strong flavoured meats and cheeses. 

Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
